The People's Republic of South Liaoning is a very large, environmentally stunning nation, remarkable for its zero percent divorce rate, state-planned economy, and stringent health and safety legislation. The hard-nosed, democratic population of 116 million South Liaoningians love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

The enormous, socially-minded, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Education, and Welfare. The average income tax rate is 67.4%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but underdeveloped South Liaoningian economy, worth 4.11 trillion Renminbis a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, highly specialized black market in Trout Farming, Arms Manufacturing, Book Publishing, and Tourism. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 35,409 Renminbis, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Schools have extensive counseling programs for troubled students, Giant Panda sanctuaries have been taken over by hydraulic fracturing sites, anti-vaxxers claim that injected children are prone to psychotic breaks when they see the 'Queen of Diamonds' playing card, and the nation's black ops are starting to get on people's nerves. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. South Liaoning's national animal is the Giant Panda, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

South Liaoning is ranked 77,701st in the world and 109th in The Black Hawks for Most Advanced Public Education, scoring 2,744.26 on the Edu-tellignce® Test Score.
